Service & Repairs
MI MED offers repair service for lift chairs manufactured by Golden Technologies, for scooters and power chairs manufactured by Golden Technologies and Pride Mobility, as well as most wheelchairs, walkers and rollators. In-store and in-home services are both available by our certified repair technicians.
Any equipment purchased from us is covered by our personal guarantee and will not incur labor fees unless the labor exceeds two hours.
Service and repair is by appointment only. If you walk into our showroom with equipment needing service, you will be asked to make an appointment or leave it behind to wait for a call from a technician. To request an initial quote for service, you may fill out the form below and we will contact you within one business day. Please include the make and model of the equipment and a description of the issues you're experiencing.
Mobility Scooter and Power Wheelchair Batteries:
If you suspect the battery is dying on your scooter or power wheelchair, we can test the battery in-store at no charge to you. Battery testing is also by appointment only, but we can generally fit it in within one business day. We can also do an in-home test for a service fee based on your location. We keep some battery replacements in stock. Most mobility batteries have a warranty of one year or less. These batteries do wear out over time and require replacement over the life of the mobility equipment.
