Renting a lift chair can be an excellent option for someone with short-term needs, such as a joint replacement surgery, spinal surgery, or following childbirth. Review our lift chair options here. We offer both a basic lift chair (3-position) option and a premium deluxe (infinite position) option.
The basic lift chair rental is a three position lift chair. This means the remote has two buttons - up and down. It can lift you to standing, sit you back down, and lay you down . The back and footrest always move together and cannot adjust independently. It features a manually adjustable three-position headrest, supportive chaise pad, and a USB port on the hand control. The deluxe lift chair is an infinite position chair. The remote has many buttons that allow you to move the back and footrest, as well as the headrest and lumbar support independently from each other. This allows you to customize the chair to the most comfortable position. It is a brown, faux leather-microfiber blend material. Delivery and pickup fees:
$2 per mile. Waived if you commit to two months (must be under 25 miles to be waived.)
Enter your delivery date in the box provided. Deliveries are available Monday through Friday and our month term is 28 days/4 weeks. If you need next-day delivery, please call our office at 248-648-0675. If you need a weekend delivery, we may be able to accommodate with an extra fee.
First floor delivery only and a minimum of one month rental required. Our month term is 28 days/4 weeks as we do not pick up on weekends. If your lift chair rental must be delivered to a second story, we may be able to accommodate for an additional fee, as it requires two people to carry a lift chair up steps.
Renter (Responsible Party) must be at least 18 years old, provide proof of identification, and pay stated security deposit and rental price in full prior to taking possession of equipment. Rental equipment must be returned by close of business on the scheduled return date, or renter will be charged for an additional rental period. Renter is responsible for contacting MI MED to schedule rental equipment pickups three business days prior to the due date, or a late fee may be incurred. Our office will not contact you to arrange pickup and your rental will automatically renew the day before the due date. Renter is responsible for the full cost of the rental period, regardless of early returns. Renter understands and agrees in the event that equipment is returned damaged or destroyed, Renter will be held financially accountable for any and all repair costs and/or total replacement of equipment. By signing this agreement, renter pre-authorizes the credit card on file to be charged for any repair or replacement costs.
1. The medical equipment is the property of MI MED, Inc. and is in good condition. Renter shall return equipment in the same condition as when received. The equipment may be repossessed if it is used in violation of the terms of this agreement.
2. Renter shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless MI MED, Inc., all agents and employees from and against any and all liability claims, injuries and causes of action, related to any claim by persons that may arise from the operation of the equipment, provided that such incident was not caused by the fault, negligence or misconduct of MI MED, Inc. or employees.

By submitting this reservation, you are paying a non-refundable deposit to hold this reservation until the start date. You will receive a follow-up phone call after submitting this reservation, where you will be required to add your credit card to file. The remaining rental fee will be charged on the day of delivery at which time the deposit will be deducted from your first rental fee. Be sure to review all fees as listed below. Any rental add-on's and delivery fees will be charged at that time as well.
When checking out, the delivery fee will say "Free." This is because delivery fees will be charged on the day of delivery.
Please review your order carefully before submitting. When there is a cancellation or refund, we incur a 3% fee from our website platform. We will deduct that fee from your refund unless it is due to our error. This applies to online orders and rental reservations, it does not apply to in-store purchases.
